King of the Hill: Carenado's Beechcraft® C90B King Air® Comes to Steam
The detailed Beechcraft® C90B King Air® for FSX: Steam Edition is now available on Steam, courtesy of developer Carenado.
More than 3,000 of the type have been built since 1964, and the C90B brought improvements to the line with an increased maximum take-off weight and constant speed 4-blade propellors. Features of the Carenado recreation include:
- Avidyne multifunction display and EFIS (EADI and EHSI)
- Landing, taxi, strobe and beacon illuminate objects and ground
- Numerous animations
- Carenado GPS400 installed
- 3D gauges used throughout cockpit
- Lite VC option to enable use on slower computers
- Customisable panel for controlling windows transparency, instrument reflections and static elements such as wheel chocks and sights props
- Realistic flight dynamics, tested by real pilots
- Original HQ digital stereo sounds recorded directly from a real PT6A
